This didn't come up yesterday during the discussion of "who does the earth belong to." Too bad! If Satan is "given authority" over anything, it shows that he had no authority beforehand. Was Satan allowed to terrorize Job? Yes, but only after God gave him permission! Is Satan allowed to roam the earth? Yes, but only because God gave him permission. The idea that "the earth is Satan's" gives Satan way too much credit. Don't give credence to a terrorist's regime.
